“Air” is all around us. There’s no human life without it. An invisible, but always present force of life, which receives dedication by Five Seasons aka Daniel Voss, as the central focus for his new album release. Delightful secluded songs are wrapped in layers of ethereal sounds. Each track is strongly emotive, opening spaces for imaginary journeys to dreamland. Five Seasons provides a bed of gentle rolling Ambient synths, discreetly guiding throughout the album. A subtle blend of synthesis and organic instrumentations is the key, at times transcendent and deep, at times with a mellow Downtempo rhythm to keep our feet on the ground.

Musician, producer and label manager Daniel Voss is the driving force of a multitude of other projects such as Weathertunes, Slow World, Yin And Yang, Green Empathy, etc, which span all the creative sectors of Lounge, Downtempo, Ambient and Chillout. Daniel originates from a breathtaking countryside in North-Western Germany, which obviously leaves audible traces in his musical expression. Like its predecessor called “Walk”, Five Seasons’s new album release has a life-affirming positivity throughout its twelve tracks. “Air” showcases a glimpse of inner peace to let-go, like an emotive postcard sent from a parallel universe.

Daniel Voss’s wide musical horizon makes sure, that the journey never gets musically boring. Soulful chantings, fine guitar and piano work combine, to lightly glide over you and pull you into a vibe of infinite love. Listening to the story of “Air” will drive you further and deeper into sound. The album isn’t merely a vital Chillout release, but a great companion for dreamy poolside sunset sessions and peaceful starry nights.
